Metal Laser 3D Printer
HMP-120 uses a 500W fiber laser to selectively melt metal powder layer by layer. A galvanometer scanner precisely directs the laser beam across the powder bed, fully melting the particles.
The molten metal rapidly solidifies, forming a dense layer that metallurgically bonds to the one below. This process repeats, building the part from the bottom up – all within an inert gas atmosphere that prevents oxidation.
